The Academy for Classical Studies (ACS) is proud to be one of four academies offered to 9th and 10th graders at Stephen F. Austin High School.
Students who live in the Austin High attendance zone and those who have a priority transfer to attend Austin High may select ACS on the Academy Preference Survey. Academy placements are made through a blind lottery process, and students typically are placed in their 1st or 2nd choice academy.
Students who live outside of the Austin High attendance zone may apply for curriculum transfer by completing a competitive application process based on grades, test scores, essay performance, etc. Curriculum transfer applications are typically due in JANUARY each year.
Please see the Austin High Academies admission page for the latest information about admissions.
